Endurance training contributes significantly to the development and maintenance of a good state of health and is an important basis for recreational as well as high-performance sports. Within this event, training methods and their short-term and long-term effects on physical performance will be discussed and training concepts will be elaborated in the form of a workshop. In addition, various endurance training concepts are tested in practice to gain a better awareness of the impact of the respective stress on the body. As part of the load design, the diagnostic procedure, methods for determining the current state of performance, and the suitability of various control parameters for the training intensity are discussed. The development of a meaningful and effective training plan in the endurance area as well as a running analysis complete this event.
