Prerequisites
In order to be accepted, students are requested to comply with the specific regulations of their Master program (MSc. Health Sciences). We recommend Master students to successfully take part in one or more of our teaching modules (Public Health and Socio-Economic Aspects in NCD Prevention, Evaluation Methods in Public Health and Health Care, Economic Evaluation of Health Care Programmes).
Application process
Students who wish to start their master's thesis in the summer/winter semester must officially apply by email (php(at)sg.tum.de) no later than the end of January/June. After the respective deadline, we will contact you within one month after reviewing the applications to let you know whether we can offer you supervision or not.
Master theses should be written in English. If your work is very good, we will be happy to actively encourage and support you in bringing your results to publication or presenting them at an (inter)national symposium after the evaluation process has been completed. For more information, please read our guidelines for writing a master thesis.
To get an impression of what kind of master theses are written at our institute, you are welcome to check out past and currently supervised topics at the following link.
