The Federal Government publishes every four years a report on the circumstances of persons with impairments. Led by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, this serves to fulfil the requirement of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities article 31 and Book IX of the Social Code (§88 SGB IX). Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Wacker, Chair of Sociology of Diversity, has again been appointed to the scientific advisory board and serves as its chair. Other members include the following representatives of various disciplines:
