Professional career
Georgia completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology (B.Sc.) at the University of East Anglia, England. During this time, she spent one year studying at the University of Newcastle, Australia. She obtained her Master’s degree in Health Psychology (M.Sc.) at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Georgia spends her time practicing and teaching yoga, she is also a keen skier. She joined the Chair of Sport and Health Management as a PhD student in December 2021 and has spent 6.5 months at North Carolina State University, USA as a visiting scholar.
Research interests
Georgia’s research interests focus on the motivation behind physical activity. In particular, she uses person-centred analysis techniques to study how the environment in which we live can predict our motivational profile. As well, she is interested in exploring the transient state of motivation over time.
