Marion Radonjic
Professional and academic career
Mrs. Marion Radonjic finished her academic studies successfully at the „Europäische Fernhochschule Hamburg” as graduate in European Business Management. The research topic of her diploma thesis focused on the analysis of highly cost cases in hospital based on a survey conducted at the University Hospital Rechts der Isar (MRI), Technical University Munich”. Mrs. Radonjic worked as a registered nurse (RN) prior and during her academic studies. She was head of the ENT ward of the MRI. She is also a certified Quality Management Representative and Auditor (TÜV Süd) according ISO 9001. In this role she developed and implemented the quality management system of the ENT ward from scratch and lead the ward through the certification process successfully. Attending the postgraduate studies program of the University of Klagenfurt she completed “Qualitative and Quantitative Research Methods and Introduction to Sociology”. Mrs. Radonjic is currently working at the MRI as financial controller. Next to her daily business Mrs. Radonjic supports the research on recurrent stroke risk of the cerebrovascular research team (MRI neurological clinic & polyclinic).
Research interests
Marion Radonjic investigates the interrelation between physical activity and the occurrence of cerebrovascular diseases against the background of health economics and self-management of health as part of her doctoral studies. The goal is to collect physiological and health economic data on preventing acute neurological diseases and correlated health costs.
