As a significant part of our syllabus in the Master “Sport & Exercise Science” we want to show the students job areas and career opportunities in PA-related markets. Thus, we were thrilled to welcome our former employee Dr. Malte Siegle, Head of the University and Research Program of Sportradar, as an invited speaker for students of our seminars in the first and third semester.

Dr. Siegle talked about the various facets of the sportsdata-market and gave insights in possible journeys form data collection to successful business cases. The one-hour presentation was followed by a talk-to-the-expert format. Both were well received by our students. Dr. Siegle pointed out that "[the] engagement from the students was overwhelming and it shows how much interest there is in the field of sports data and insights."

The Chair of Performance Analysis and Sports Informatics expresses its thanks to Dr. Malte Siegle and Sportradar for this valuable addition to our seminars.
