"The Congress on the Future of Organized Sports". This is the title of an event organized by the Bavarian Sports Association (BLSV) to be held at the Oberhaching Sports School on April 29 and 30, 2022. With the congress, the BLSV would like to open the vision for the future of organized sports. On the agenda are groundbreaking topics, technologies and trends that are driving the transformation of sport. The event premiere enables interested congress visitors from sports clubs and sports associations to gain comprehensive and exciting perspectives that promise lasting inspiration for club life. Exciting lectures from science and practice are the inspiration for an interactive exchange with the actors of Bavarian club sports.
The Department of Sport and Health Sciences will be represented on Saturday, April 30, with a lecture by Prof. Dr. Veit Senner as part of the BLSV Future Congress. Under the program item "Sport & Technology," the head of the Associate Professorship of Sport Equipment and Sport Materials will speak on the question "Does the digital fitness coach replace club sports?"
"Club sports can and should use the possibilities of digitalization. To do this, special offers must be developed - adapted to the existing program and the membership structure of the club. A few ideas of what this could look like will be shown," Prof. Senner gives a brief preview of the content of his presentation.
The motto of this year's kick-off event is "Shaping change". On this journey, congress participants will take on the role of "shaper" and "discoverer," where they can share their personal feedback in modern discussion panels and receive crucial answers to the question of how the future of organized club sports, taking into account the three factors of "sports operations," "club management" and "sports facility," will evolve.
"I am delighted that TUM, and in particular the Department of Sport and Health Sciences as the official cooperation partner of the Bavarian Sports Association, can contribute to the successful outcome of the BLSV Future Congress," said Prof. Dr. Renate Oberhoffer-Fritz, Dean of the Department and head of the Chair of Preventive Pediatrics. "The organizer has put together an impressive program."
In particular, participants are expected to gain a deeper insight into the topics of "Sustainability in Sports," "Sports Club 2030," "Digital Sports Club," "Sports and Technology," and "Sports Facilities of the Future," illuminating them from different perspectives.
Integrated into the "ZUKUNFT SPORT" congress, the bau@blsv trade show will take place on April 30 at the Oberhaching Sports School. The BLSV has been organizing this series of trade fairs for sports facility construction for over ten years. Here, interested parties can find out about current topics, products and services.
