The aim of this study is to gain new insights into support of autonomy and emotional experience of students during PE lessons in Mittelschule. Since this information has not yet been measured in Germany, the results of this study are of special pedagogical and scientific interest. Therefore, the results can deliver an important contribution to the design of tomorrow’s sports classes as well as to the education of future PE teachers.
