Report Card 2022 of Physical Activity of Children and Youth
Physical activity levels of German children and youth are low, as the German Report Card for Physical Activity of Children and Youth 2018 indicates. To date, we observe drastic changes of childrens' and adolescents' environment due to the Covid-19 crisis. The Report Card 2022 will present the changing activity levels as one of over 50 national Report Cards at the Global Matrix 4.0 of Physical Activity of Children and Youth.
The Active Healthy Kids Germany, a network of researchers, led by Prof. Dr. Yolanda Demetriou (TUM) and Prof. Dr. Anne Reimers (FAU), evaluate physical activity and sedentary behavior of children and adolescents by 10 core indicators. Basis are scientific studies, national assessments as well as reports by governments and non-gonvernmental organisations.
Data assessments and curation is ongoing. Are you interested in a collaboration for Germany's Report Card 2022? Do you have current, (un-)published data of physical activity and sedentary behavior? Please contact Prof. Dr. Yolanda Demetriou and Prof. Dr. Anne Reimers
