Expert Discussion "Nutrition and Exercise during the Corona Pandemic" with Prof. Oberhoffer-Fritz and Prof. Hauner

Experts from the Else Kröner-Fresenius Endowment Professorship (EKFZ) and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) have now investigated this fact and for the first time present concrete figures on how many people were unable to maintain their body weight. In addition, they also show reasons for weight gain. The results of a Germany-wide study by the opinion research institute Forsa on the topic of nutrition and exercise during the pandemic will be presented online on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, starting at 11 am.
Prof. Dr. Renate Oberhoffer-Fritz, Dean of the Department of Sport and Health Sciences and head of the Chair of Preventive Pediatrics, and Prof. Dr. Hans Hauner, Director of the EKFZ and Professor of Nutritional Medicine at TUM, will present the study results and their conclusions in a virtual expert discussion.

Starting at 11 AM, Dr. Ulrike Schneider, head of the Else Kröner-Fresenius Endowment Professorship, will give a brief introduction before Prof. Oberhoffer-Fritz and Prof. Hauner, starting at 11:05 AM, will present the study results.
