Health literacy entails people's competencies to access, understand, appraise, and apply health information. Managing information is a major challenge in the 21st century, especially since digitalization and digital transformation are rapidly changing society, education and health, and in particular the way people and systems communicate and use information for health promotion, disease prevention and health care. Therefore, both research and teaching of the Assistant Professorship aim to address these fundamental topics.
