Teaching

The Chair of Epidemiology offers courses for the following study programs at the TUM Department of Sport and Health Sciences:

• Bachelor in Health Sciences
• Bachelor in Sports Sciences
• Bachelor of Education in Health and Health Care Science
• Master in Health Sciences
• Master in Sport & Exercise Science

Our teaching comprises both basic courses in epidemiology and biostatistics, as well as advanced and more in-depth courses in epidemiology and biostatistics. The offered courses focus on the areas of epidemiology, statistics, as well as research methods.

Additionally, a colloquium is offered for all doctoral candidates at the faculty, whose thesis is related to a systematic literature review or a meta-analysis. Students writing their bachelor or master thesis on one of these topics are welcome to join.

The Chair of Epidemiology offers to supervise Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral theses concerning epidemiology, prevention and biostatistics. Please contact us via email, if you are interested in writing a dissertation in this field.
