Stefan Schmidt’s (*1985) research focuses on volunteer commitment, diversity and difference when facing impairment and disability in society, inclusion in leisure and sports (football), corporate social responsibility, profession and professionalisation in the social realm as well as the interdependence of individual and social contextual factors (accessibility and infrastructure) across the lifespan.
Stefan Schmidt studied Rehabilitation Pedagogy (B.A.) and Rehabilitation Sciences (M.A.) at the Technische Universität Dortmund. From 2011 to 2013, he worked there at the Sociology of Rehabilitation Chair as an Adjunct Teacher. He was been a Research Assistant at the Sociology of Diversity Chair of the Technical University of Munich from April 2013 to April 2015.
