The program compiles the knowledge coming from the industry partner, focusing in business implementation of technology, with a more academic and research side. During the week September 10 to 13th they learnt about the state-of-the art of tools for frail assessment, did product research and designed the user interface at Qolware´s HQ. This week, September 16 to 19th, they will deep into the use of wearables to assess motor deficits through kinematics in the lab, and different experts in the field will give an overview about the application of technology in clinical context in the short Simposium “New technologies in the assessment of physical activity and motor skills”. Next October 1 to 4th they will travel to Brussels to learn more about sensors technology and methodology, data processing and create a mockup of an app/product.
The consortium created for Frail Project has the purpose to contribute to the education in healthy aging, offering a full perspective on the transfer of research findings to business.
